OUR STORY

Hey there — we’re Doug and Aimee, the duo behind Stay Tuned Records. We opened our doors in April 2025 (on Record Store Day, no less!) with a whole lot of love for music and our new hometown, Tarpon Springs.

Our journey started back in 2020 when we first met and instantly bonded over a shared love of music — from late-night album deep dives to unforgettable concert nights. For me (Doug), music’s always been more than just a passion — I’ve been a musician and producer for nearly 20 years, so finding someone who shared that spark was a dream come true.

In 2022, we made the move to Tarpon Springs and quickly fell head over heels for the charm of the Historic Downtown and its welcoming, tight-knit community. But as much as we loved strolling down the main strip, we kept thinking the area was missing one thing: a record store with the same eclectic, artsy energy we felt all around us. We waited... and waited... and eventually realized that if we wanted it to happen, we’d have to make it happen ourselves.

So when a storefront opened up in the heart of downtown, we jumped on the chance and took a leap of faith. Stay Tuned Records was born out of our love for music, community, and each other — and we couldn’t be more excited to share it all with you.
